BOOKHOUSE
The design of our restaurant organizes the historical structure of Dom Książki and allows it to resonate in a new way. Natural materials like stone or wood combined with steel create a background that does not distract from what is most important - the table, food, and conversations taking place around it.
Characteristic lighting and conscious work with its color make the space change during the day - from bright and open in the morning to more intimate in the evening. We wanted to create a space for every time of day, and we succeeded.
The Bookowski bookstore operates in the strona space. Its presence is an integral part of experiencing the place, of which books and readers are an inseparable part.
This bookstore is a bond between Dom Książki - a space of culture - and strona, which is its gastronomic continuation.
The project was created in cooperation with Poznań-based Studio OYKA.
