strona is a place that brings morning, lunch, wine bar and dinner into one proprietary space. Located in a historic tenement house in Poznań's Łazarz district, strona combines modern cuisine with the warmth of a domestic interior.
Each time of day has its own character here — from morning coffee and breakfast, through lunch meetings, to an evening dinner with a glass of wine.
The functioning of the place is determined by the rhythm of the day and changing seasons. They guide us in choosing seasonal products, which we obtain only from trusted producers, close to our approach to work and quality.
The same mindfulness applies to wine. The labels you will find in strona are the result of conversations with suppliers and sommeliers and a conscious selection that matured over time.
The unchanging narrator of this story remains quality. It binds all chapters of the place and is our signpost in making decisions. All this out of respect for our Guests and for the craftsmanship to which we dedicate this story.
We open for you every day from 9:00 and operate throughout the day within the framework set by our four chapters.
Morning
The first chapter of strona marks the morning.
During the week, we invite you for coffee and pastries provided by Smażone Mleko bakery. On weekends, the breakfast service runs at full speed.
Lunch
This is our second chapter. Its rhythm flows during lunchtime.
We dedicate it to everyone looking for a place for a break at work or a business meeting.
The service runs smoothly and we guarantee that in an hour you will have time to order, eat and return to your daily duties.
This is a story dedicated to seasonal products, so we promise you won't get bored with us.
Wine bar
This is part of our third chapter, the evenings.
Our wine bar is an informal place for a glass of wine and simple snacks at communal tables, as opposed to the more private space in the back.
It can be an introduction to a full evening service, but it doesn't have to be. It's up to you how the rest of the evening unfolds.
Dinner
Dinners are a full, yet still informal installment of our evenings.
This is a space for long conversations at a table set with the best of everything. The menu is based on dishes that you can, but don't have to, share with your evening companions.
This is cuisine that doesn't pretend to be fine dining, because it doesn't have to. It's full, refined and conscious, and at the same time accessible to everyone.
